Trade Bait: Edmonds is back at the Coast
The St. Louis Cardinals are continuing to change things up.  On Friday they sent Jim Edmonds to the San Diego Padres, clearing some payroll of their books.
Trade Bait: D'Backs get Haren
The first staff ace got traded today as the A's GM Billy Beane trade Dan Haren to the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Beane took Brett Anderson, Aaron Cunningham, Dana Eveland, Greg Smith, Chris Carter, and Carlos Gonzalez in return for Haren and Connor Robertson.
Trade Bait: Wade gets Valverde
Houston Astros GM Ed Wade is a reliever trading nut!  He has completely remade the Astros pen in multiple trades, and now he's grabbed his biggest reliever yet. 
Trade Bait: Royals get Callaspo
General Manager Dayton Moore continued spinning the poor Royals roster he inherited into a much better team.  Today he traded pitching prospect Billy Buckner to the Arizona Diamondbacks for second baseman Alberto Callaspo.
Trade Bait: Miggy to Houston
It had been rumored for roughly a week that Houston was in the running for Miguel Tejada.  That rumor became truth today as Miggy was traded to the Houston Astros.
Trade Bait: Torres to the Brew Crew
After loosing closer Francisco Cordero and setup man Scott Linebrink to free agency, Milwaukee Brewers GM Doug Melvin started restocking his bullpen.
Trade Bait: Cabrera and Willis
The long rumored trade for Miguel Cabrera finally happened, but not how many believed or to who.
Trade Bait: Capellan Traded Again
Flame-throwing reliever Jose Capellan was traded again on Tuesday as he was dealt to the Rockies for another much-traded arm, Denny Bautista.
Trade Bait: Infante and Ohman are Braves
The Atlanta Braves realized that the price to resign Ron Mahay was going to be too large and decided to go another route.  On Tuesday they acquired another left-handed reliever, this time from the Chicago Cubs.
Trade Bait: Dukes to Washington

As reported on Rotoworld earlier today, Jim Bowden has finalized the long rumored trade for Elijah Dukes.  On Monday, the Washington Nationals traded lefty pitcher Glenn Gibson to the Devil Rays for the outfielder, making their outfield picture very clouded.
Trade Bait: Quentin for Carter
The Chicago White Sox bolstered their outfield for 2007 as they added former star prospect Carlos Quentin from the Arizona Diamondbacks.  In return, the D-backs get first baseman Chris Carter.
Trade Bait: Milledge to the Nats
Trader Jim has done it again, he's acquired another bat with decent potential upside for lesser players.  The Washington Nationals' GM Jim Bowden traded Brian Schneider and Ryan Church for Lastings Milledge. 
Trade Bait: Young to the Twins
In one of the biggest young talent trades I've seen in a while, the Twins acquired Delmon Young, Brendan Harris, and Jason Pridie for Matt Garza, Jason Bartlett, and Eduardo Morlan.
Trade Bait: Mota for Estrada
After the Yorvit Torrealba signing fell through, the Mets looked to other options to fill out their vacancy behind the plate.  On Tuesday, the Mets traded for Johnny Estrada to be the mix for the new backstop.
Trade Bait: Garland to the Angels
In a somewhat odd trade today, the LA Angels acquired pitcher Jon Garland for shortstop Orlando Cabrera.
Trade Bait: Oscar Villarreal to Astros
Does new Houston Astros GM Ed Wade have an affinity for stocking up on veteran relievers?
Trade Bait: Tigers reel in Jones
The Detroit Tigers completed a recently rumored trade for outfielder Jacque Jones.  The Chicago Cubs' centerfielder will now be the Tigers main leftfielder.  In return, the Cubbies will get infielder Omar Infante.

The Philadelphia Phillies upgraded their rotation by trading for a closer.
